OUR EXPERIENCE
A qualified Chartered Accountant from Cork, Brian Dunne bought his first property in 2013. Always interested in property, he is passionate about taking unloved, run-down properties and creating high quality homes at a reasonable price for tenants. Keen to educate himself, he has been on several property training courses in the UK run by Progressive Property, which is the largest property training company in the UK and whose founders own over 600 properties between them.
OUR APPROACH
Our aim for launching Dunne Properties is to create a win-win situation for everyone we work with. Having lived in rental properties for many many years, we are well aware of the varying qualities of rental accommodation in Ireland. From that perspective, we believe that landlords in Cork can, and should, be providing a higher level of accommodation. The days of mismatched, uncomfortable furniture, poorly maintained properties should be behind us. For the most part, we believe that these types of properties are offered by 'accidental landlords', people who did not intend to become landlords and who think they now have no choice but to keep the property and need to run it as cheaply as possible. They do not have money to bring the property to a high standard and , therefore, have a high turnover rate of tenants. We can take these properties from landlords, ensuring their bills are covered, refurbish them to a high standard so tenants are happy to live in them and manage them in a way that we can still make a profit. We are happy, we have a happy landlord and a happy tenant. Win-Win!!!
WHY US???
We used to believe that it was a requirement to have or earn a lot of money in order to live in a nice home. Now, we believe that it's actually all about mindset and approach. We provide a high quality home to our Tenants at a reasonable price. We work with our Landlords to understand and resolve their issues with their property, giving them peace of mind and looking after their property, often returning it in a much better condition than it was when we got it. Our Investors get a great return on the funds they invest with us, much higher than any bank and a greater level of security than investing in stocks or shares. We help Homeowners to resolve issues they may face with their property and help First Time Buyers to get on the property ladder without the need for large deposits.
We believe in putting all of these people ahead of ourselves and our interests. Brian's mentor, Kevin, told him if you look to help people and figure out their needs from their point of view, more often than not, you can create a win-win situation that works for everyone. We are happy to talk to anyone about their property issues and if we can't help you, we will do our utmost to point you in the right direction, whether we make money or not.
